We have had a two week holiday in france and camped in five different france-passion sites around cher and loire valleys.They were excellent. I keep teeling everyone about them but I feel that I should be selfish in case they become too crowded.

This was our first tour of France and I was keen, but somewhat nervous, to stay at at least one France Passion site. I chose a Domaine in Languedoc for my first stop as I have long wanted to visit a vineyard of a small family producer of the worlds 1st sparkling wine.

My experience could not of been better. Lovely friendly family who happily allowed us to tour their caves and were extremely generous with their tasting! After purchasing a few bottles of their sparkling wine we were told that we could park up wherever we liked, so we parked up with a glorious view over the vineyards to the hills on the other side of the valley.

Our evening was made complete by a glorious sunset which we viewed over several glasses of sparkling wine, listening to my favourite music, eating fresh produce from the region cooked in our CI Mizar motor home, all on our own! This wonderful evening was topped of by the family dog joining us (which was lovely as we were missing our canine companions).

After a restful night we thanked our hosts who wished us a good holiday.

My first France Passion experience was one of the best moments of my holiday and well worth the membership fee. I will certainly use the scheme again and will stay at more venues next time. If only there were such a scheme in the U.K.
